Please put some thought into your explanations and feel free to browse the post below. Many of you did not have time to complete that last semester.

1. Why are you in school? Are you here to "play" school? (for example to get a grade) or Are you here for a different reason? Explain!
2. What are your goals for this semester? How can you improve yourself from last semester?
3. Where do you see yourself in 10 years? What do you think you will be doing? How about 20 years?
4. BIG QUESTION... In the future, How do you see yourself contibuting to your generations' success? Explain!

I am in school because I think it is important to get a good base of education before I go out into the real world, and yes I do "play" school. The only thing that really is important to me is the grade because that is what colleges look at. They don't care if you know or don't know the material, they just look at the grade. I could be amazing at science but if I get an F and as far as the college is concerned im horrible at it.In my opinion half the stuff you learn in school you will never use for the rest of your life. I won't go into a job interview and get asked the question "What is protien synthesis?" my goals for this semester is to get A's. Personally I don't care if I know the material.

1. I am in school because I know that it is going to help me get into colleges and later get a job. I would say that sometimes I “play” school because I am the most worried about what my grade is, but I also know that getting the actual education part is more important.
2. My biggest goal this semester is to get an A in the class, but I also would like to stay on top of homework and do well on my tests and quizzes.
3. In 10 years, I will hopefully be trying to get a job or already have one. I know at this point in time it is hard to find the right job, and it could change in 10 or 20 years, but either way I do not know what I want to do in my future so any decent job sounds good to me right now. In 20 years, I hope that I will still be making a living with what I choose I want to do in my future, and I know it isn’t just handed to me so there will be a lot of work to do.
4. I believe that in the future I will be trying to show off our generation’s success by showing that I have learned something. No matter what I am doing, I would like to contribute knowledge and show that we are not a failed generation, but that we have the ability to make the world and the generation after us grow.
5. At this point in my schooling, I am pretty happy with where I am at. I try to study hard and do my homework so that I can keep my grades up. Also at this point, I am learning to organize more and stay on top of things.

I'm in my school to learn skills and knowledge that will help me throughout the rest of my life. I wouldn't at all say that I
"Play the game of school", I really try to undertand concepts and skills as best as I can, instead of only thinking of earning a good grade.
My goals for this semester include having no missing assignments, and having as close to all A's as possible. Specific to bio, I will study much harder for tests, and come in for help more than the previous semesters, like I should have been.
In 10 years, I have absolutely no idea where I see myself. I haven't yet figured out what I want to do with my life, all I know is that I want to do something I love, and I want to help people. I do know for sure, though, that I will have gone to college. In 20 years, I see myself with a job that I love, and a family.
In the future, I see myself contributing to my generation's success. Whatever I end up doing with my life, I want it to be something where I'm helping people. Helping people definitely would contribute to overall success.
At this point in my schooling, I'm on the right path to suceed.

1. I believe that most kids my age think of school as something that gets in the way of the their social life. I must admit that I do feel that sometimes, however i primarily fell that school is a great opportunity that i have. I have met who have dropped out of school and they say it ruined their life.
2. My goal for this semester is to maintain my grades from last year and start and finish the year strong.
3. In ten years I see myself still in school either in med or law school. In 20 years I see myself with a career and a family.
4. I see myself as either a doctor or a lawyer which both contribute to my generation's legacy. As a personal goal, I would like to play a sport in college.
5. At this point in my schooling, I feel that I am doing great.

I would say that I am in school to gain the knowledge that i can build from and use throughout my life. Most of the time I am not just "playing" school, I want to be able understand and learn. It sometimes is hard to not play the game when I know that there will be important things based off my grades.
My goals for this semester are to come in for help to make sure I really understand the context.

I don't really know where specificly I want to be, but i do know that I want to have a job that i can honestly say I enjoy and am good at. In 20 years I hope to continue building off what I have already achieved.
I could see myself contributing by always trying to make improvements, whether it is helping people or providing new ideas.
At this point in my schooling I have managed to do pretty well and I hope to build off of what I know now.

In ten years i see myself in medical school in a good school so i can be prepared for my career. In twenty years i want to be successful in my job and be able to make a livng.
In the future i see myself contributing to the health and the welfare of our nation. I may be finding the cure for cancer or any other major diease.
At my point in school i want to be able to get good grades so i can try to be a better learner and so i can better myself.

1. I am in school because I know that to succeed I have to graduate and do well in high school especially to go on to college, which I plan on doing. I have gone to school seeing it as something I have to do but have grown to love learning.
2. My goals for this semester are to make sure that everything I do is my best effort so no matter the grade I know I tried my hardest. In all my classes, I also really want to try to study throughout the year in all my classes instead of cramming before tests.
3.In 10 years I see myself finishing college and starting a job as a journalist or something else that I want/can do within the next 10 years. In 20 years I hope that I have a great job as a journalist with a publication that I have been working for a while and living somewhere cool (maybe New York City) with a husband.
4. I hope that starting now and continuing for the rest of my life that I can impact people's lives. No one says, "I want to go through life unnoticed and not making a difference." Sometimes fear can make it seem that way but we all aspire to do great things. I like to get to know people and be an encouragement to them so I hope I can continue with that for the rest of my life. So...through my journalistic writing I hope I can continue to cover controversial and inspirational topics. It wouldn't hurt to be an innovator. If I was the next Steve Jobs or Mark Zukerberg I would definitely contribute to the success of my generation but I'll have to keep thinking about what I am going to create.
5. At this point in my schooling I am inspired to do well and make my future whatever I want it to be.

1. I am in school because I want to succeed in life. I don't want to skate my way through it, relying on friends and family to support me completely. I want to make a place for myself, so that I may be independent and have a life of my own.
2. My goals for this semester... I could write an entire essay on that. I am aiming for a scholarship, as to not bury my parents and myself in debt, so this semester, I plan to work hard and do homework the day it is assigned to make it a tad easier on myself. I want to be in the top of the class, to get all A's with no expectations. I can improve in unlimited ways from last semester, starting with really throwing myself into school work.
3. In ten years, I see myself in medical school, or maybe still in college. In twenty years, I see myself working as an orthopedic surgeon, or perhaps a physician. I've changed my mind many times and probably will continue to do so.
4. In the future, I see myself giving my all. It's sad and slightly frightening to think about, but there are doctors in this world that exploit their position for purely for personal gain, such as selling drugs. There are doctors who don't care about their patients, those patients who willingly put their lives in doctor's hands. It's scary to think that you trust your wellbeing to someone like that. I want to be a better doctor. I want to care about my patients, and treat them with care. I want to give them every chance.
5. At this point in my schooling, it is critical I give it my all, or else I won’t make my goals. I have to focus. I have to pay attention. I have to succeed.

I am in school because I want to learn and I want to be successful. There is so much to learn and to see in the world. School is just one part of my experience and learning. I may not feel that all I am learning are things I want to learn or ones that will be involved in what I want to do, but I can see how it is important to know all of it. My goals for this semester are to stay ontop of my schooling on top of doing the other things I want to start up. I need to spend more time on my school work and getting more sleep so I have the energy and brain power to do all that is required. I just need to find the drive to do what needs to be done. I see myself as out of college and hopfully having a job that invovles teaching music in 10 years. In 20 I hope to have a family and have a steady income coming from a job that I enjoy.Hopefully I can be involved in a lot of things and help others and teach my students as well as I can. At this point in my schooling I am trying to find balance between everything I need to do and want to do. And I am also trying to develop as a person and be who I really want to do.

1. I’m in school because I think it is important to get a sturdy, solid, and good base of education before I go out into the world not knowing what to do or where to go. I’m here to get good grades so it can benefit me in the long run for college and future jobs.
2. My goals I’ve set for this semester is to get a 3.9 GPA. I am going to improve myself from last semester by staying on task more, studying for tests more, and being more assertive in getting my grades up.
3. In 10 years I see myself getting ready to graduate med school if I haven’t already. I think I will become an ansetisiologist. It’ll take a lot of work but I’m willing to do it. In 20 years hopefully I will have a sturdy job and be helping people who have surgery everyday.
4. In the future I see myself contributing to my generations’ success by being a leader and helping the med field have more studies. I want the generation to grow from my achievements as much as I do.
5. At this point in my schooling, I’m feeling pretty confident about the road to success I’m on.

I am in school because it is the best way to prepare me for the future. I actually like learning and want to gain lots of knowledge. I also think that school brings us all together. I wouldn't see nearly as many friends in the summer as I do now. My goal for this semester is to keep my straight A's :). Then I hope to get into more advanced classes. In ten years I see myself overseas defending our country. Wherever I'm needed is where I'l be. In twenty years I hope to have a wife and children. I'm not sure what I want to do after the military but I don't need to decide today. In the future I see myself contributing to my generation by protecting freedom and other people's rights. At this point in my schooling I am just a little behind in the difficulty of my classes.

1. I am in school because of my future. Everyone is here to be students, perform well and get quality grades. As unfortunate as it is, it seems like that is the purpose of most students. However, I am here in order to set up my future so that it's a positive one. I'm here not because I have to be, but because I need to to have a bright future.
2. My goals for this semester is to do well throughout the course of the semester so that the final isn't so stressful. I can improve myself from last semester by doing well on all the moodles so that my grades stays a solid A.
3. In ten years I see myself out of college and pursuing a career. Hopefully I will be doing something business-management based, because that'a what I intend to go into in college.

5. At this point in my schooling, I'm building a foundation for my future.

1.) I go to school because I know my future depends on what I learn now. The effort I can put toward what I am doing now will reflect the effort I will put forth in my future, in college, in my job, my family, etc... The grades I get are important to me because that's the way further schools will value you but that doesn't mean I am playing school, I really do want to use the knowledge I gain now in the future.

Colleges are looking at your grades and when I don't want to do something I do the assignment enough so i can get a good grade on it. I'm also here to make friends and have fun!
2. My goals this semester is maintain an A in the class and try to get A's on all the tests and quizzes. How I can improve is study a little more and even when i have a little question I should ask it so I understand the concept. Also to learn the material and not "play school".
3. In ten years I can see myself in a steady job and living life to the fullest. I think i will be doing something in the medical field like a physical trainer or a physical therapist. 20 years I still see myself having the same job and maybe having a family and having fun with them.

3. I have been thinking about my future a lot lately, and honestly have no clue. Hopefully a job I love along with coaching a lacrosse team.
4. I could see myself helping our generation by doing mission trips and taking small steps to overall leave an impact on this earth for the better.

1. I believe that I am in school because prepares young adults for their future and gives them the tools needed to succeed in life. I want to learn all that is needed to strive and be able to help others understand what we as humans know about everything. When I was younger, school was a place to mess around with friends, play games in class and have fun. Now that I am in high school, it really hit me that I need to be and stay focused, take my learning into my own hands, and look at how I can make my future happen.
2. One of my main goals for this semester is to take responsibility for my grade and get help when I am struggling. I want to feel comfortable in Biology and understand the curriculum to the fullest possible. I can improve myself by coming in to talk to Mr. Craig whenever is needed to get some extra assistance.
3. In 10 years, I can see myself traveling around the world and taking pictures of all kinds of wildlife and animals. In 20 years, I hope to be doing the same thing because that is my dream job.
4. In the future, I hope to make my generation stronger by giving back to communities in need and helping my generation ban together and make a difference as a generation, not just a singular person making a change.
5. At this point in my schooling I am really working hard to do well in all of my classes and keep it that way. I really need to start thinking about how I can reach my goals and how I can end up on the path to becoming a photographer.

i am in school because i think it is important to get a good educational background before we head off to college and start studying/getting a degree in a certain subject that interests us. i am here to learn. my goal for grades this semester is to finish with straight A's like i did last semester. ways i can improve from last semester would be to focus a little more on homework for certain subjects, and to come in to see teachers for questions/help more often. in college i want to study criminology, so in 10-20 years i hope to be worknig as a criminologist and bringing people to justice. i see myself contributing to my generations' success by not blowing anything off and to stay aware of whats going on and to be envolved. at this point in my schooling i feel like i am on the right track, i feel that if i do as well, if not better, this semester as last i can see myself accomplishing what i want to accomplish

1. I am in school to learn. In order to become a well rounded human being, participating in society positivley, I as a teenager must learn. There are times when I find myself very tired or bored in school and may just finish an assignment to finsih it or do the extra credit to get an A. However, most of the time I try and learn from others and my personal experiences.
2. My goals for this semester are to get all A's. I also want to try and learn things in such a way so that I don't forget them as soon as we take a test over the content, I want to actually learn. But at the same time I don't want to stress my self out...as I am only a teenager.
3. In 10 years, I see myself finishing college and pursuing a career. As of now, I have interest in beiing a teacher. In 20 years, I hope to have a family and a successful career...though it is hard to predict that far out.
4. If I become a teacher, as I see myself doing now, I will be contributing to my generation by being a person that teaches and inspires the next generation.
5. At this point in my schooling I have learned much, but have only just begun, there is so much more to do an learn in the world...the possibilities are endless.

1. I’m in high school because I want to go to college. I want to go to college because I want to be really good at the things that I love doing, such as reading and writing.
2. I want to get above a 3.5 GPA this semester. I had the same goal last semester but it didn’t end up happening. As far as Biology class goes, I’m going to try to be better organized this semester and hopefully get an A.
3. In 10 years, I hope to have a stable job, but not necessarily the one I want to have for the rest of my life. I just want enough money and time to be able to improve my writing skills to the point where I could later, in 20 years, have a stable job as a published author.
4. In the future, I hope I will be helping the next generation to think in new and different ways through the themes and characters in my novels.
5. At this point in my schooling, I’m just trying to push though it until I can get to college and be able to do the things I actually care about.

1. I am in school in order to learn and then go to college and get a good job and just have a successful life.

2. I want to get an A this semester. This would involve remembering to do the moodles and turning in labs!

3. In ten years, I would like to have successfully started a career and having started a family. In twenty years, I would like to see myself being an inspiration and extremely successful at my job.

4. I would like to show kids that they can do what they want and I do not want to hold my kids back. I want to give them the freedom to make mistakes, learn from those mistakes and therefore learn how to be a good person and be successful and not afraid to fall down when life gets tough.

5. At this point in my schooling, I don't feel satisfied with my work so I want to do better. I am a smart person and I don't feel like I have proved my full potential. I want to do that so that I can show myself the possibilities and show the world who I can be.

I am in school for a variety of reasons. First and foremost I have to be here. It is illegal to do otherwise. Second, I want to learn. I can use the information I receive in school to help me throughout my life in my job, college, and family. I want to get a solid A in biology this year. When final grades were published I had and A but was danger close to a B. I want to remove that close chance of my grade slipping and falling. I need to study more and be more involved. I don't know what I want to do in 10 or 20 years. I see myself having a family, but I am not sure about other things. I still don't really have a career plan, but I know I want to help people in my career. I can contribute to my generations' success by helping others in my job (but I don't know which job). At this point in my schooling my future looks good.

1. I am in school, because it is essential to create the life I want to have in the future. I need to do well in school to get into a good college, and after college get a good job. I have very high expectations for myself and my future and none of that is possible unless I do well in high school.
2. For this semester I want to really focus on learning the material I need to, to get a good grade. Also to get all A’s and get more involved in the school. My dream is to go to Duke, and I know I will not be able to do that unless I start getting really good grades and adding extra activities to my schedule. Last semester I was so close to having all A’s so I can really improve this semester. Last semester I feel like I was being a little bit lazy and just going through the motions. This semester I want to focus on taking hold of my learning and really trying to learn the material as I go through it; I think that will also help me to get better grades.
3. In ten years I will be 25, and I want to be working and starting a family. I am not sure what kind of job I want to have, but hopefully I will be working and providing for myself. I could see myself being a teacher, but one of my dreams is to become a lawyer. If I did become a lawyer, at 25 I would probably still be in law school! I don’t know where I will be in 10 years, but mainly I just want to be happy.
4. I think if I were to become a teacher it would contribute to our generations’ success largely. It would be nice to be able to give back to the younger generations and try to inspire them. I think I could contribute to the generation by being successful, because people tend to look down on our generation, and I would like to help prove them wrong.
5. At this point in my schooling, I need to start taking charge of planning and preparing for my future.

1. I'm in school to learn and understand things that I wouldn't learn on my own and to earn the grades I work for and use all that for the future.
2. My goals for this semester is to get good grades and try harder on quizzes, tests, homework assignments and come in and ask more questions. I can improve myself from last semester by trying hard from the beginning and not waiting till the end and just all around do better from last semester.
3. Honestly I don't know where I see myself in 10 years. I know for sure that I would graduate college and pursue the things I love. In 20 years I definitly see myself having the job I love, having a house and a family.
4. In the future I see myself helping with the generations success by being a part in something and helping people no matter with what I do and hopefully making a change as well.
5. At this point in my schooling I'm on the right path but there are still some things that I can change to make it even better.

At this point in my schooling, I am here to help me become more responsible person and help me get ready for the real world. And yes I guess I do play school sometimes. Colleges are looking at your grades and when I don't want to do something I do the assignment enough so I can get a good grade on it. I'm also here for the social aspect as well as the benefit of learning materials for my future.
2. My goals this semester is maintain an A in the class and try to get A's on all the tests and quizzes. I can accomplish this goal my studying more often and efficiently. Last semester I struggled with biology and wish to improve my outlook on science. Although I pulled through at the end, Bio was a class that I put forth effort only in the last month or so. This semester I will be participating from January until May.
3. In ten years I look to improve my society my adding my skills to the field of sports medicine. This area interests me because of the mix between sports and medical careers. These two fields interest me more than any other job opportunity
4. In the future I seek employment in an area where i help other succeed in a goal that they have set for themselves.
5. At this point in my schooling, I look forward to set my future up for success. “Playing school is no longer an activity that I can get away with because my teachers hold me accountable.

1. To me school is not about "play." I do feel a lot of people feel school is a "have to" and don't get me wrong, I've felt the same way. But i know, especially now that I'm getting older and closer to college, that school is for MY own good. School will allow me to go to college and have a successful career when I'm older. That is why I am determined to stay in school and be successful.
2. My goals for this semester is to keep my grades high. I don't want to put too much pressure on myself to get straight A's, but i do not want to get anything lower then a B. I want to get higher test scores too! That to me is almost more impotent because i feel then my grades will stay high, and i know i would understand the material.
3. 10 years from now hopefully i will be out of college and on my own finding my place in the world. I hopefully will just be starting my career. 20 years from now i want to see myself succeeding in my career and improving.
4. In the future i see myself contributing to my generation by being successful. I want to show everyone in generations above (and even below) us that our generation is successful and we will stay that way.
5. At this point in my schooling, i need to start focusing on being successful and staying successful by achieving all my future goals.

1. I am in school because I want an education so I can have a career later n life and I am not here to play school.
2. My goals for this semester are to focus on bio class specifically because of the way my grade turned out last semester. I will not miss anymore hw assignments and not just take notes but understand them and get help if needed.
3. I see myself obviously going to college and hoping to find enjoyment in any sport career jobs. I would really like to focus on Sports Entertainment and Marketing.
4. In the future I don't see how sports can change the world but if I have to be sports political I would say if I can make a sports team popular in the world, region, state, town , or even a city by promoting, and selling products, good profits will boost the economy of thats area. Right? :)
5. At this point in my school I think I'm a good student but can push to do better if I really want to.

In 10/20 years i hope to see myself with a good education and still playing baseball. In the future i can see myself inspiring people from all ages from kids to adults i want people to look up to me and i want to effect peoples lifes in a good and make people better by playing baseball. At this point in my schooling i have to take everything serious and work hard and put everything i have into makeing myself and others better people

1. I am in school because I want to succeed. I want to take advantage of my schooling so I do not "go with the flow" but travel the road not taken and make a difference in my generation. Starting with good grades and obtaining useful knowledge that will allow me to excel in any career I choose to pursue.
2. My goals for this semester are to keep an A in bio and to do a better job of taking advantage off my unscheduled hours to come in and see my Biology teacher for help.
3. In ten years I see myself following a career in medicine which is based on the foundation of biology so I should use this knowledge for my own advantage.
4. I see myself contributing to my generations success by saving lives as a doctor or even teaching my kids to contribute to their own generation.
5. At this point in my schooling I am pushing myself to achieve not only the success of myself but the success of my generation.

I am in school partly because I have to be, but mostly because I want to be. In middle school I would "play" school. I would take it easy never payed attention and crammed everything in before a test just to forget it the next day. Middle school was easy. Now that I'm in high school I truly realize how important learning is. Once we're grown up we're going to have to work. I want to be able to live a great life with a high salary and I know I won't be able to do that without an education. Last semester was good. I tried but defiantly not as hard as I could have. My goal this semester is to not only make straight A's and do good on finals, but to actually learn and not just cram everything in for one test. In ten years I will be 24. I hope to be in college. I'm still not sure where I want to go mostly because I'm just a freshman, but I do want to do something along the lines of engineering. These days we don't have very many engineers, especially women engineers so I feel as though that would be a great way to contribute to my generations success. At this point in my schooling I'm really starting to learn, not just math and proper essay format but real life skills that I will need when I grow up.

I'm in school to become educated so I can live my life to the fullest and make a good living when I get older. My goals for this semester are to stay focused. To ask questions and get help when I need it. I need to keep my grades up and expand my knowledge in all subjects. I can improve myself from last semester by doing my work. To stop procrastinating on studying for quiz's and test's. In 10/20 years I see myself in law school and making an honest living. I see myself, "breaking the pattern" to make a difference by getting my priorities in order and doing what is not only good for me, but good for everyone. At this point in my schooling I will strive to succeed and do what I can to get where I want to be.

All through freshman year I "played" school and not very well at that. This year I'm starting to realize I actually need everything I get here in school. My goals for this semester are to straight up get better grades.More specifically for Bio i want to have no missing assignments because i had way too many last semester and those killed me. To be honest I have put very little time so far into the future, I'm not doing well enough in schoolright now to be worried about my future. If i don't step it up right now there won't be any future i want. I feel in the future I will be helping my generation by contributing my time to extra things people don''t think of behind the scenes of things. At this point in my schooling...I have been the laziest kid you'll find until now I"m changing that for good.

1. I'm not in school to "play" school or go to school only for the grade, I'm here to learn because my education is important for a successful future.

2. Goals for this semester: stay organized, stay focused, work hard, and enjoy it, because school is a privilege, and I only get one year as a sophomore and I might as well enjoy it!

3. I'm not sure where I see myself in 20 years, or even 10. All I know for sure is I want to go to a good college, get a job that I'm passionate about, and start my life as an independent individual.

4. I see myself using my great ideas to contribute to new inventions that could change lives, or my work (whatever it might be) positively influencing the lives of others.

5. At this point in my schooling, there's always going to be room to improve, but the most important thing is that I do my best, and am successful enough at arapahoe to go on to whatever job I choose, and will have the right education to back me up for that job. :)

I am here to learn and absorbe as much information as I possibly can in my high school career. My goals this semester is to pass with at least a c and have no missing assignments! In 10 years I see my self married and running my own business. In 20 I see my self having my business expanded and franchised. I see my self contributing by finding a cure for diabetes and helping as many people as I can. At this point in my schooling I could uses some improvements but have seen a lot of improvements in my schooling.

I am a part of a school because I realize it is important to learn and go through schooling to succeed later. In a different way, school is a way to develop socially and mentally as I grow into an adult. School is a way to challenge me to be better than I am and help others in their journey through life.
This semester I plan to turn in all of my assignments and uphold an advanced gpa. I want to work harder out of school in my athletics and put a bit more of my time towards school. I want to keep my motivation from the beginning to the end of the semester.
In ten years I see myself finished with college and possibly married. I could see my self just starting a successful carreer in design and engineering. In twenty years I will have a family and continue my job.
I will be contributing to my generation's success by having a solid career and continuing to be a free thinker who does not depend on technology but can help others adapt to it. I enjoy learning about technology, and though some people think our generation is too connected to it, I can be an example that we are much more efficient than we used to be.
At this part in my schooling I am learning to be a better learner and thinker to prepare for a future that no one knows

I am in school because it is a good base to get you strong for life as an adult. My goals for this semester is to get no C's. I will remember to do the knowledge checks and work harder when studying for tests. In ten years I see my self graduated and possibly married. In twenty years I hope to be settled down with a good job and a family. I have yet to find out what I want to do in the future. Hopefully I can be a big contribution to my generation. At this point in my schooling I am yet to know what to do with my life.

1. I am in school to learn. To better myself so in the future I have options. I would say that sometimes I “play” school because I am the worried about what my grade is, but I also know that getting the education is more important.
2. My goal for this semester is to try harder and be more focused. Last semester I was just going along with life and not trying my hardest. To fix that I will study harder and learn from my homework instead of doing it to be done.
3. In 10 years I see myself in out of college working at a successful job. I know at this point in time it is hard to find the right job but hopefully that will change. In 20 years I see myself married with kids but meanwhile I will still have my job and education.
4. In the future I see myself with a successful job but I don’t see myself contributing to my generations’ success. I don’t think I will contribute because I am not really the kind of person who stands out to make a difference.
5. At this point in my schooling, I am happy with where I am. I try to study hard and do my homework so that I can keep my grades up and I don’t slack or fall behind.

1.) The reason I go to school is to learn and to prepare myself for my future. I'll admit that I do "play" school and focus on what my grade is a little too much and I'll forget why I'm at school. I just have to keep reminding myself to focus on learning rather than memorizing the information. 2.) My goals for this semester are to be more organized, focus on learning more, try to balance everything out more, and to not procrastinate. 3.) I don't really know where I see myself in ten years, other than out of college. There are a lot of things I'm interested in so hopefully I'm just doing something I love and making a difference. Same thing in twenty years, hopefully with the addition of a family. 4.) I see myself contributing to the success of my generation by having a successful and happy life and by trying to help people and make a difference. 5.) At this point in my schooling I am trying to do my best and accept that, even if it means not getting the grade I would've liked.

1. I am in school to learn and so I can have education that will help me get into a good collage and have a better future and job. I think almost everyone plays school, but yes I do to because getting a good grade is what collages look at and so that is all I am concerned about. But I do now that getting that good and knowing the information and having an education is the most important part.
2. My main goal for this semester is not have any missing assignments and to get a 3.5 GPA and of course getting at least a B or higher in the class. Also to do way better on the tests then last semester.
3. In 10 years I see myself having a job or looking for one and living on my own. I do not know what job I will be looking for since right know I have no clue what I want to do in my future. In 20 years, I am hoping I will be still making a living in what ever I am doing and being happy what I am doing.
4. In the future I will be trying to show that our generation is not fail but success and we have learned something. I would to contribute to help the generation after us and before grow. I want to help prove every other generation before us wrong that we are a successful generation.
5. At this point in my schooling, I am not as happy with my grades and GPA, I know I can do better and this semester I plan on it. I really want to get in to a good collage and I know it starts now so at this point I am trying my hardest to be a better student.

1.) I am in school to learn. Throughout my schooling I have had times where i "played" school. There has been times where I worked for a grade, not to learn. However one of my goals is not to do that anymore.
2.) I think I worked hard last semester, but I feel like I could have worked harder.I feel like I was unprepared for how hard Bio was going to be but I am ready to step it up.
3.)I have thought a lot about my future and where I want to be. In 10 years I will have graduated from college and hopefully be in a job that I love. I really don't know what that job will be but I hope I love it. I hope that I would have worked hard to make a life that I enjoy.
4.) I believe that in order to change the world, you have to start with yourself. So, I need to contibute to my generation's success by personally doing what needs to be done.
5.)At this point in my schooling, I know its time to step it up and achieve what I want to.

1. I am in school because I choose to be not because I have to be. I am in school to gain knowledge and to one day become a nurse.
2. This semester I aim to stay healthy and not fall behind in my school work. I aim to continue with a good GPA and make it into my Junior year.
3. In ten years I will be 26, I want to be living in New York City and working as a nurse in a pediatric doctors office. I would hope to be married, or in a relationship at that point in my life. In 20 years at 36 I would like to be able to volunteer at my children's school (yes having maybe 5 adopted kids)and still living in NYC married and a nurse.
4. I would like to contribute to my generations success, whether it be by breaking stereotypes or tangible changes. I would like my research for Turner's Syndrome to take place and in my wildest dreams be the first actress to actually come out as having TS.
5. at this point in my schooling I know who I am, and I am shooting for the goals I have set.

3. in 10 years i hope I'm out of college and have a good job and doing what I love.
4. I hope to help other generations learn what I have learned. I hope that later on in the future kids will have better knowledge of whats going on in the world.
5. At this point in my schooling I am finally learning how to try my hardest and to take what i've learned and use it.

1. I like learning and coming to class, however the grades get in the way. Our whole lives we have been taught to strive to get A’s and make it into a good college, never to learn as much as we can and try our hardest regardless what your grade reflects. If we didn’t have grades to worry about school would be a lot easier to just sit and listen and learn, but instead I do have to “play” school sometimes in order to fulfill societies expectations like a high gpa and college acceptance.
2. My goals for this semester are to not procrastinate and wait until the last moment to get assignments done. I also want to pay more attention in class and be engaged. I want to receive straight A’s again and have no late work.
3. In ten years I see myself graduated from college, hopefully one that I got an academic or athletic scholarship too. I want to still be dancing and teaching dance. Doing something I love is something very important, I don’t want to be stuck behind a desk all day, I want to enjoy my job. I want to still be happy and focusing on the right things.
4. I see the apathy of other kids my age and I hear older people talking about our apathetic lifestyles. I don’t want to be put in that category. There are more important things out there then someone’s facebook status or who is having the best party. I love helping people and in the world we live in today, help is much needed. I guess I just want to lead by example and hopefully my generation would follow. Focusing on school, keeping family priority and being aware of the world around us.
5. At this point in my schooling I am happy with where I am at and want to continue on this path. So far I have only gotten a 4.0 and I hope to continue that. I have great friends, great teachers and a great atmosphere at Arapahoe.

5) At this point in my schooling I have had some rough times but I feel that I have over come them and have had amazing teacher and don't just teach me academics but life lessons

I feel the write answer to his question is I am here to learn. I am in school to create a future for myself and to find who and what I want to be in my life. Yes, grades do come into this and are a main focus of mine but not the only. My goal this semester my goal is to get one less B than I did last semester. In 10 years I see myself with a job and settled in to a career. In 20 years I hope to that I am married with children but I feel this is so far into the future and true I don’t have a clue of where I see myself, I am just basing this off the stereo typical life. I see myself contributing to my generation success my contributing in law. I hope to be a lawyer to fight for h justice of people. To help make this world a better place. At this point my schooling is my life, it’s all I know for now and is for the sole fact of my success in the future.

1. I am in school to learn and prepare myself for higher education and eventually a successful career. Sometimes I “play” school when I am feeling frustrated in a class or just tired, but for the most part I try to do my best to actively learn and make efforts to understand.
2. My goals for this semester are to make more of an effort to come in on my off hours and ask questions when I don’t understand. I also want to really learn from test interventions so when finals come around I already know the content. I can improve from last semester by utilizing all the tools I am provided.
3. In 10 years I see myself hopefully graduated college and beginning a career that I really enjoy. In 20 years I see myself still in my career that I have worked towards to get. Because this is far into the future I cannot say exactly what I will be doing, but it will be something I love doing.
4. In the future I see myself contributing to my generation by bringing new ideas into the world and making positive contributions that leave an impact in the world. I will help show the world that my generation is not as conceited as we are believed to be and that we care about the world.
At this point in my schooling I am as determined as ever to make the best of every situation.

1. I am in school because I want to learn and to grow up and take control of my own life. I am here for more than a grade but also an experiance that I can use in the real world, an experience that will make me a better person that thinks before they act and act before its too late.
2. My goals for this semester are the standard good grades but also taking away information from class other than remembering enough to get by.
3. Ten years from now I would like to be coming close to being in the medical field and twenty years from now becoming successful.
4. In the future I would like to contribute by having my own successful career and putting time and effort into the community. I hope to help people in many ways. I will try my best to contribute to my generations success in any way possible and by that I will give my best to school to learn what I can do for the future.

Personally I am in school to learn many different things to help me throughout my life. I want to become a smart person that will help me in my future of being a teacher eventually. I know that I have to work towards that, so I try to do that. In about 10 years I hopefully want to have a degree that shows the success that I have been through. I want to see myself in 20 years taking on the challenges of being a teacher and a holding up a family with my stable job of being a teacher. This semester my goals are to be getting my GPA up higher. Personally I think that I can improve on this by coming for help more often. I know last semester I didn’t do this to my full potential. I see myself contributing to my generations’ success by teaching the next generation and kids. Our generation is going to need people in some way to help teach the next generation to not make stupid mistakes that could happen. At this point in my schooling I see myself going the right direction toward success.

1.When I was little I would go to school and not know what I was there for, but now I go to school and I know I am there to learn as much as I can so I can have a good life when I am older. I don’t think I go to school to get a grade or to ‘play’ school.
2.My goals for this semester are to stay focused on my school work through out the whole semester, not just get lost in the middle of it and pick back up right before finals week like I did last semester. I want to also do a better job of asking questions when I don’t understand something.
3.I don’t know what I will be doing in the next 10 or 20 years. Hopefully I will be pursuing a career I love.
4.I see myself making an impact by helping other people all over the world; it has been a life dream. I would do this by contributing time to different communities to help rebuild them.
5.At this point in my schooling I want to explore and find something I enjoy studying.

4. I see myself contributing to my generation by adding to its creativity because I hope to go into the arts for a profession.

1. I am in school in order to expand my horizons of interest. I started off this year just wanting to make grade, but after the first semester I gained an interest in many different things. So currently I'm just interested in be a part of as many activities I can.
2. My goals for this semester is to be active in as many things as I can, and of course, to get all A's.
3. I have no idea what the future holds, but hopefully I'll still be playing lacrosse.
4. I see myself contributing to the success of the next generation through spreading the influence of lacrosse, which is a sport that allows me to focus and get better grades. I just hope I can allow that to be the case for another child in the next generation.
5. At this point in my schooling I am aiming to get great grades so I can go to the school of my picking.

1. I am in school to learn, but most of my focus is on the grade I receive, and not always on the aspects of what I'm learning.
2. My goal for this semester is to focus on the learning, and not to spend so much time worrying about the grade. I want to try to remember the things I have learned past the end of a unit, or a test.
3. In 10 years I will hopefully be starting a job the i love, and have worked hard to get. In 20 years I see myself doing anything that makes me happy, and feeling like I have made a difference in something.
4. In the future, I see myself as one of those people who puts others before themselves. It might be in a job, such as teaching, or just volunteering. My success would be helping others succeed.
5. At this point in my schooling, I want to focus on the classes that matter to me. I want to learn all I can from the classes that I am interested in.

1)I am in school to fulfill my lifetime dream of entering the fashion industry. In some ways I am "playing" school because I do strive to get straight A's however I am also in school to gain experience of responsibility and other tasks for my future careers.
2)My goals this semester is once again, to get straight A's. However I can improve with relaxing a little bit more. I get caught up in schoolwork easily that sometimes it's hard for me to enjoy what's going on at the moment. This semester I want to be a more balanced with schoolwork and social activities in order to become well rounded.
3)In 10 years I plan to be working hard at my dream and doing everything I can to learn about the fashion industry: starting at the bottom and slowly reaching the top. In twenty years I hope I will be working at my dream job in the industry, however I don't know how I don't know exactly what job I would like to fulfill in that field yet.
4) In the future I see myself contributing to the fashion industry. Although fashion may seem materialistic I believe clothing is an opportunity for individuals to truly feel confident about themselves. Fashion shapes our culture and our world and I would be honored to partake in that.
5) At this point in my schooling I am proud of what I have accomplished however I know there will be many challenges coming ahead. I am willing to work hard and overcome challenges to get to where I want to go.

1. I am in school to prepare for college and to discover what I want to do in the future. I know that I might not need to know everything I learn in highschool but it is an opportunity to build my education and to explore and find out what I am interested in.
2. My goals for this semester are to study more frequently and to take my classes more seriously. I also want to focus more on what I'm learning rather than my grade.
3. In 10 years, I hope to either have a job or be in some kind school (grad school). In 20 years, I have no idea what I will be doing specifically, but I'm planning on haveing a good job.
4. I think that I could contribute to my generation's success by doing more than what's acpected of me. I hope to excell in whatever I study in preparation for my career and to help with the changes that must take place in our country and world.
5. At this point in my schooling, I am trying to discover what subjects intrest me most. I am starting to think about my future and what I want to do with my education.

In 10 years I hope I will be in or at of college and working. I don't know what I'll be doing in 20 years. I hope to contribute to my generations success by going to college and getting a job. At this point in my schooling I hope I can become a better student.

I am in school in order to prepare myself for the future and earn a degree that gives me the opportunity to have a successful career. This semester I hope to maintain an "A" while also devloping skills that better myself for future classes and jobs. In ten years I see myself as an engineer because I enjoy building things. I see the same in twenty years because I would like to make a career out of it. I see myself being a part of a new wave of efficient technology that is both mindful of the environment and the average person's pocket book. At this point in my schooling, I have almost reached my potential and all I need to do to reach it is totally apply myself to my classes.

1. I am in school strictly because it is against the law for me to not be in school.
2. My goals for this semester are to not fail any classes. And to start putting together my video application to the Jersey Shore.
3. I see in myself in 10 years chilling with Snooki on the Jersey Shore. In 20 years i see myself on the "Where are they now" show. And possibly being the next Charlie Sheen.
4. Ill be honest this question got me stumped. Unless there is a HUGE turnaround in my lifestyle then there will be no contribution from myself.
5. At this point in my schooling, I am really motivated to just get it over with.

1. I am in school not just because I have too, but because I think an education is actually really important to have in life.
2. This semester I really want to apply my self more and work hard to earn a better grade.
3. In ten years I guess I want to have a good out-of-college job, in twenty years, well I have no idea what I will be doing but hopefully a much better, higher up job than the one I had ten years previous.
4. I suppose to contribute to my generation, I will get a very good job and try to pick up some messes and fix it up for the next generation.
5. At this point in my schooling I know that I can succeed if I try and can use my entire potential.

1. I am in school to learn and to work hard in order to get into a good college and to get a good job. I think that sometimes I do “play” school because I am worried about texts or grades. But I know that doing well and getting a quality education is more important.
2. My goal for this semester is to get an A in the class and to do well on tests and quizzes. In order to improve myself from last semester I will have to study more and do better on unit tests and moodle tests.
3. In 10 years I will hopefully have a good job and be doing well living on my own and having to deal with life after school. In 20 years I will hopefully have a good job doing what I want and be working hard to make a good living.
4. In the future I see myself contributing to the future by showing what we have learned and that we aren’t a lost/ failed generation. I think that we will show that we all worked hard to become a good hard working generation and help other generations to create the best generation that we can.
5. At this point in my schooling I am happy with where I am at, but I know that I can do better than what I did last semester, so I know that I will have to work hard in order to achieve my goal.

1. I feel I am in school mostly to learn and educate myself for what lies ahead of me and to be educated for the job I pursue. For the most part, I’m here to play school. I aim for the A’s and while that is extremely important to most anyone who looks at me, I’ve realized that this is my only chance to build a foundation for myself with my learning.
2. My goals for this semester are to finish strong and keep the 4.0 that I finished with last semester. Another goal of mine is to make the baseball team and have a good season on the team. I feel I can improve myself from last semester by studying for every test and maybe take more time on my assignments.
3. I see myself in ten years pursuing a degree or even in the field of engineering. Although I don’t know which part of engineering I’ll pursue, I’m sure that it will come to me later. In twenty years I don’t really know what I’ll be doing maybe in the same field or maybe climbing the ranks of my job. It’s too far away to really guess what I’ll be doing.
4. No one can really say that they’ll make a difference for their generation but I would like to find alternate forms of energy for the world, such as uranium or hydrogen. I feel we have just started on a long path that may lead to some amazing discoveries.
5. At this point in my schooling I feel I have started off great, but still have a long way to go.

3. In 10 years i see myself living in California working as a special ed teacher.
4. I can contribute in any way I can. I can't think of any right now but i will.
5. At this point in my schooling i am just trying to do my best

1. I am in school to learn information that i will need in the future for both my benifits and to help others. I think i am playing school a little bit but i don't work for grades i just think of them as a base of how well i am working and wether i need to speed up my game or not.
2. My goals this semester are to improve my grades, be responsable, think, question and solve. I think last semester my goals were not as specific and i did not have a clear path on where i was going. This caused me to not succeed in my goals but this semester i am trying to make a clear path and acheive my goal.
3. In 10 years i see my self with a reliable job after coming out of collage. I think i will have a good job as an architect or be involved in a proffestional sport. In 20 years i see my self being blessed with whatever i am ment to be.
4. In the future i see myself making a big helpful difference in my generation. I see myself helping others and working together with others to make a difference.
5. At this point in my schooling i am trying to figure out my future and what i want to do with the information i learn.

I am in school because I have to be. However that doesn't mean I "play" school or do just enough to get by. By law I have to attend school, but while I'm school I try to do my best and excel and learn as much as I can. In the future I hope to attend Stanford University, although I don't know what I would like to study. All I know is that I want to learn as much as I can to take my learning as far as I can. I want to have an impact on my generation. At this point in my schooling I want to start taking it more seriously.

I am in school because I need to be educated in things that will eventually help me out in the real world. It is true that when I get a job it is unlikely that I will need to know everything I learned in school, but things I have learned will prepare me to learn things that I need to use. I don't simply "play" school because at this point in my schooling everything I'm being taught will eventually lead up to information I need to know. For next semester I hope to maintain a 4.0 GPA, to improve I will stay on top of my assignments, and would love to finish with no missing assignments. To think about what I will be doing in ten years is impossible. Ten years ago more than half of the jobs available today weren't around. If you think about it, 20 years ago a person who is currently a stem cell researcher would have had no idea what stem cells were. I see myself contributing to the future by working hard at whatever I end up doing and progressing the human race as a whole, however slightly it may be.

Being in high school almost makes me feel like I'm playing school. If you get a C in a class colleges don't care. They just see the letter they don’t know if you went in five times a week and got a tutor just to get a B on a test. It puts more pressure to do well in the fist place and make sure that C is an A. I want to try and get more out of school and not just play but I feel like all that counts is playing. Some goals for the semester are to do better on test. I get low grades on test then rely on interventions to get me up to an A. Another goal is to enjoy this year more. Before I made it clear in my mind that I didn’t care that cells eat and drink this way because of this. I just wanted to look at bigger things for example organs in our bodies or how blood is pumped through our body. This semester looks more interesting to me; giving me a little more encouragement on how fun this will be. I would love to see my self in ten years at CSU studding to become a vet. The idea of working with things I like is appealing to me. Then in twenty years I would love to have my own practice and work with animals every day of my life. If I accomplish this then I feel like I can make a small difference in animals, no huge dent in the world but possibly the community. I don’t see me ending world hunger for the children or curing cancer (that would be nice). I see my self-saving a family's new puppy that got into trouble or a kids new kitty that ate too much yarn. Then I have to look at that on the positive side of things. Doing things like that may not solve all the world's problems, but it could solve a major family dilemma on the next step for their animal.

2. My goals for this semester are to improve my grades from what I earned last semester by managing my time better.
3. In ten years I see myself in a career, but I don’t yet know what type of work I will enjoy. Twenty years from now I believe I will still be working, however, I plan to continue to grow in my career.
4. In the future I see myself contributing to my generation’s success by finding something that I am passionate about and mentoring young people.
5. At this point in my schooling I feel that I am doing well but at the same time I know I am capable of more.

1. I am in school because I think that it is important to be educated. Even though college isn't something I'm very interested in, there is no denying that school is a helpful tool. I do think that in some of my classes I "play school" because they aren't what I think is important in life.

2. I want to apply myself more in subjects that I believe will benefit me in my future. I also want to spend my time more wisely, and figure out my priorities.

3. In 10 years I see myself working in a third world coutry as some sort of missionary. I would like to teaach english as a second language or simply run an orphanage. In 20 years I hope to be doing about the same thing, but I would enjoy a family of some sort.

4. I think that my generation is so ignorant, and even though we are so privalaged with the education we can get we do not use it. I will contribute to my generations success by voicing what other people are afraid to admit. That we are spoiled and in my opinion I would rather help the failing countries of this earth than worry about what people think my generation will do to our country. People die of hunger everyday in other countries, but all people worry about is the political future of ours. That is not and never will be my priority.

5. At this point in my schooling I will use the education that I recieve to help others in my attempt to not only better our country, but the whole world.

1. Why are you in school? Are you here to "play" school? (for example to get a grade) or Are you here for a different reason? Explain!
--I think that some people in high school think of school as just something that is interfering with their social life with friends, etc. and to be honest I think that sometimes too. But in the end I think that school is something that really helps build a good future for you so that is a main reason why i get up 5 days a week and go to school. I want to let high school help me get into a good college. You can have fun in school, but it's not always just a place to play.
2. What are your goals for this semester? How can you improve yourself from last semester?
--My goals for this semester are to get better grades and not be so caught up in all the social drama and stuff, Lat semester I was so caught up in everything else and i didn't put too ugh effort in my work and this semester I'm going to change that.
3. Where do you see yourself in 10 years? What do you think you will be doing? How about 20 years?
--I don't know what i will be doing in 10 years, maybe graduating or in college and i would like to be living somewhere in California.
4. BIG QUESTION... In the future, How do you see yourself contibuting to your generations' success? Explain!
--In the future i can see myself contributing to the success of my generation by having a successful and positive out look on life and by trying to help people and make a difference in other people lives too.
5. Finish the title sentence.
In this point in my schooling its all heading uphill.

2. My goals for this semester are to do way better than last semester, i slacked off a lot, and didnt come in fore help when i needed it.
3. In ten years i see myself working some kind of career, i am not sure yet, what i want to do, but whatever i do i hope to be successful at it.
4. I see myself contributing to my generations success by helping other people, because thats what i am good at, always being there for people when they need it, always knowing what to say, or what they need.
5. At this point in my schooling I am aiming to get good grades so I can go to the school of my picking.

I used to only be in school because you are required to be, but now that high school has come I am considering what I am going to do when I graduate so I am in school so that I learn about the world outside of being a teenager. Currently I am looking into studying marketing or something to do with business so I am in school to study what I need to get me to college. My goals this semester include to get on the A/B honor roll, to become more responsible with my work and my time, and to try my best at everything I encounter. I can improve by never having a missing assignment, not wasting my days on facebook and never give up like I did second semester last year. In ten years I will be 26 years old so hopefully I will be married, have a good job, life a happy life and have a family or at least be starting one. In twenty years I can not even think about what I will be doing! In the future I hope to help the world in anyway, shape or form. Such things include recycling, putting money toward finding a cure for cancer and studying medicine. I will also do my best and prove everyone who thinks that my generation is the "failing" generation wrong. At this point in my schooling I am doing pretty good, but not good enough, I am so close to having a 3.5 cum. GPA but I don't have it yet which is saddening for me.

2.My goals this semester is to not be as hungry in 3rd hour so I can focus better and hopefully get a better grade.
3.In ten years I hope to be getting my Doctorate degree and still be mostly human. In 20, I’ll hopefully be working and have a salary that can support my life.
4.Everyone is contributing to this generation’s success by not being a bad person and being nice. I hope to be doing both and also contribute to the science field.
5.At this point in my schooling I believe we should take notes on China. What I mean is we should have selective preparation for our chosen carrier.

I'm here for school not just because it is something that I'm forced to be doing. I'm here to learn new things even though I might not need them later in life. I just really like knowing how to do things and looking back at all my accomplishments. This semester I'd really like to get a better understanding of the content of my classes and not just aim for a high grade. I think I need to work about as hard as I did last semester but try to get concepts out of the material. I don't know what I will be doing in ten years. Hopefully I will have a successful career and I may be in law school. In twenty I believe I'd like to be a lawyer and be a part of a successful firm and have a family. In the future I'd like to help my generation by encouraging them to do well in school and not to take it easy. And to help the stopping of putting innocent people in jails. At this point in my schooling I would like to think of myself as the kind of student who doesn't try to be "cool" and blow off all the work. Because I'd like to have a promising future.

1. Im in school because I have to be. I honestly cannot say I would go to school if I didn't have to. At this point in my schooling I am here to learn how to be someone in the world, to prove I have the potential to succeed, and to gather the skills that will lead me to success. Do I care about the material I'm learning in class? For the most part, no, I don't. But I do care about the class itself, and I play the game of school so I can win.
2. This semester needs to be better than last, although last semester was very good. I had too many borderline grades and close calls, so I would like to improve this semester by getting more solid grades and facing projects and papers head on.
3. 10 years I will probably either still be in school or starting at a job on my road to success. In 20 years i want to be in the prime of my career, and hopefully very succesful.
4. I want to do something important to benefit society. By important I mean something that will actually make a difference, not like writing a book or inventing wireless headphones, but something that will help humanity. I want to go into math or science, so I can do something big to help a lot of people. I have no idea what that will be yet, though.
5. At this point in my schooling I am learning the essential skills I will need to know for the rest of my life.
